The Chinese New Year Celebration and Cultural Fair was held Saturday, February 17 at Southridge Rec Center. Traditional music, Dragon, Lion and folk dances, and martial art-Kung Fu demonstrations marked the Year of the Dog. A Cultural Fair and Taste of China featured traditional folk art displays, Chinese shops, and Chinese New Year refreshments.

The Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter of Denver hosted 200+ guests on February 9 at Anchor Center for Blind Children’s Eighth Annual Valentine's fundraiser, "Visions of Love". Guests enjoyed an evening of philanthropy, wine and delicious delicacies at the one-of-a-kind learning facility built to serve young children with severe visual impairments.
The afternoon included a 3-2-1 countdown where confetti-filled balloons hanging from the ceiling were popped. Kids and their families made New Year’s necklaces and party hats, face painters were on hand, plus—of course—snacks!
