The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association is proud to present an evening of classical music. This evening, starting at 6:30 p.m., will feature Violafource and explore a variety of original compositions and popular arrangements for 4 violas, showing off the variety of what the instrument can do, while tying into the history and sonorous acoustics of the Highlands Ranch Mansion. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

The rock legend live in concert! Messina’s legacy of musical prowess spans five decades, three acclaimed rock super groups, a vibrant solo career and an array of production credits. As one half of Loggins & Messina; co-founder of the country-rock band Poco; and band member and key contributor to Buffalo Springfield, he has left an indelible footprint on rock music. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $45.

The Southridge Rec Center is bringing the classics back to the big screen with Friday matinees. Enjoy watching Breakfast at Tiffany's, an assortment of classic candies and a signature cocktail. Grab some popcorn and your friends and take a trip down memory lane. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

Usher in the holiday season with an enthralling performance that brings to life a favorite holiday story of old. The International Youth Ballet returns to perform this one hour family-friendly performance starting at 3 p.m. Bring the family and join the Nutcracker Prince in this colorful and magical staging of a holiday classic. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 day at the door.

The Denver Concert Band will recognize the heroes of WWI, as well as those who have fought for peace in all times, in a musical commemoration of the armistice for what was to be the war to end all wars. The season of peace is also represented with holiday selections that will please both young and old. The concert starts at 2 p.m. and tickets are $20.

Take a stroll down memory lane with LTAC favorite Gail Bliss (John Denver Holiday Concert) and her six-piece Nashville Band for A Classic Country Christmas. Hear your favorite country carols from yesteryear’s yuletide and hits from country’s biggest stars of the past decades. Invite Patsy, Loretta, the Possum, and Johnny into your Christmas season with this good ol’ country music. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets from $28.
