— Make the best use of natural light. Make sure the home is making the best use of any sunlight entering the home by lifting shades and opening curtains.
— Always think of getting the ‘wow’ factor as soon as the potential buyer enters the home. Make sure the entry to the home is well designed to keep the buyer wanting to see more.
— Edit furniture and décor and place everything to keep the eye wandering and the flow of the home open. Again it will make your home appear larger and make sure there is nothing obscuring buyers’ eyes from focal points, such as fireplaces and views..
— Make sure each room/space in the home has a defined purpose and is decorated accordingly. Make sure each room is being used for the purpose intended (ex. office is being used as an office) .
