The festivities at the Highlands Ranch Mansion include a welcome reception, an open house, a spooky presentation about ghosts and the mansion’s haunted history, and a “lights out” ghost hunt. Bring your flashlights, handheld ghost hunting gear, cellphone cameras and apps to capture your very own paranormal evidence inside this historic building. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.

The Western Fantasy gala has been a signature event in Denver for 24 years, dazzling guest with elaborate western themes and attire, cocktails, dinner, a live auction, and a concert by renowned country western stars, all benefiting Volunteers of America Colorado. This year’s entertainment will feature a performance by 2011 American Idol winner Scotty McCreery. Western Fantasy was founded by community leaders Sharon Magness Blake and Jean Galloway in 1994. Since its inception, Western Fantasy has raised more than $24 million to support Volunteers of America, helping children and families and our elderly neighbors in need across Colorado.
