Cover Band Performs Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours”

Classic Albums Live recreates Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours with skilled vocalists and musicians who honor the work with no gimmicks, no make-up or other illusions employed by tribute bands. Note for note, cut for cut, the attention to detail is staggering; every sound from the album is masterfully duplicated live on stage. The event will take place Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m. at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Ticket prices range from $33 to $40 depending on seat selection.

National Geographic Live: Nature Roars Back

A new six-part PBS/Nat Geo International series is drawing on the experiences in Mozambique’s Gorongosa National Park by Emmy Award-winning cinematographer, Bob Poole. Join the acclaimed cinematographer and filmmaker for unforgettable images and stories of Gorongosa’s majestic animals and learn how the wild places we’ve broken can be put back together. This event will take place Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Tickets are $15 and $35.

Denver Hosts Unique Kentucky Derby Viewing Party

On Saturday, May 5 from 1 to 6 p.m. come take part in the most fun Kentucky Derby Day event anywhere! After watching the 144th Running of the Kentucky Derby, Denver hosts its own “mini race” at the Stanley Marketplace. Mini-horses will trot around on site in a charity race!
